I hope your day isn't filled with too many April fools jokes so even though I thought of doing something silly today, I decided against it. To be honest, I'm not really sure why there even is an April fools day and being one whose birthday is during the month most famous for a "fools" day and showers, I don't know if I should take offense or just take it as a compliment to my laid-back nature.

Although this shot my not look like it, this is actually taken straight down on about 2 feet of water. The palm frond is actually under water. I played with this picture a lot because I wasn't really satisfied with the weird green mold-like color of everything but the palm frond. I tried making this area black and white, sepia-flavored, and even over saturated but nothing seemed to work that well. The end result is what you see, a slight desaturation of everything but the red and yellow tones.
