I took this shot in probably the most famous church in Savannah, Cathedral of St John-Baptist. I'm always a little shy about just walking into places whether it's a church or not and taking pictures but since my brother was with me, we just walked in and started shooting. The lighting was a bit dull so I throw on my 50mm f/1.8 and upped the ISO 400 (which is always a painful experience for me) and grabbed a few nice shots.
Although it was pretty tough to get a shot without someone walking in front, I managed to grab this shot which I've come to really like. The background is slightly busy but with the shallow depth of field that the 50mm can provide, it isn't too distracting. I have a few other shots from the church that I'm sure will end up being posted sometime in the future.
