I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately but I'm not quite sure about this picture. The color version is not even the least bit interesting and I'm not sure if the black and white conversion has really added that much. Regardless, it gave me a really good chance to play with the Silver Efex Pro plug-in by Nik Software for photoshop. The plug-in certainly gives you a good deal of control of your black and white conversions without all the complexities of having to copy layers and mask different portions in photoshop. Overall, I am relatively satisfied with the results of this particular conversion even if the photo to me doesn't seem all that interesting. At the same time, I'd kill for a view like this while enjoying a nice day of fishing.
