Not What It Seems

Not What It Seems

Hope everyone here in the States enjoyed the 4th. Fireworks are always a good time even though being in Orlando has almost spoiled it for me since I can go to Disney any night and see what most people have to wait all year to see.

Speaking of Disney, this shot was taken the Tin Toy display that resides in the Japan pavilion inside EPCOT. They have some really neat tin toys and I would highly recommend stopping by next time you're there. Unfortunately, it is a little tough to get a good shot off without a tripod. This one I took handheld and I'm pretty happy with the result even though its at ISO 400 (for anyone that doesn't know me...I almost refuse to shoot at anything but ISO 100). For a shutter speed of 1/25 of second I'm surprised it's as clear as it is.

Aside from the obviously awesome robots (I need to go back a get a good shot of some of them), this was probably my favorite. It just looks fun to play with and looking at it closely if looks like the flight attendant even moves on a track from the front to the back of the cabin. Heck, even the landing gears appeared to go up. It seems as though they just don't make classic stuff like this any more but I guess 50 years from now the toys of today will be displayed behind glass just like these.

This photo does not have any GPS data associated with it. It's my goal to have GPS data for all my photos but unfortunately it is just not always possible.
