Adobe released Lightroom 2 today and while I've been playing with the beta for a while, it was really hard for me to dive deep into it because I was worried about porting my Lightroom catalog into the beta and then have issues when the full version was released. I'm actually glad I waited because the upgrading process was incredibly simple and smooth. In fact, it was amazing for an Adobe product considering the Creative Suite installs I've done in the past. Regardless, the new Lightroom is amazing! The stuff you can do without having to go back and forth to Photoshop is really incredible. I can certainly see myself using only Lightroom for more basic edits. There will certainly be more about Lightroom in the future but if your able to upgrade, I highly suggest it!
