Keeping with the theme of looking through my old photos, this shot was take on the Big Island of Hawaii or more accurately about 200 yards of the beach and about 40 feet underwater.
What you actually see here is an LED diving flashlight, held by myself with one hand, being ‘attacked’ by Krill. I was out on a Manta Ray night dive and lights similar to the one I was holding are used to attract the Krill which in turns attracts the Manta Rays. It was an amazing dive and I would definitely recommend it if you have the chance. I had some video of my own but can’t seem to find them at the moment so check out this video from BigIslandDivers on YouTube.
This photo does not have any GPS data associated with it. It's my goal to have GPS data for all my photos but unfortunately it is just not always possible.
Many people suffer from a common complication known as Comment Apprehension or CA. CA is common among visitors between the ages of fifteen and eighty-eight. CA is spreads quickly and prevents you from being an active member of your community. The only known cure for CA is to place your fingers at the ASDF JKL; position on the keyboard in front of you and begin typing. If that doesn't work, it is suggested you seek medical attention.
