Looking at this shot now, I think I could have executed it a bit better. My eye seems to always be drawn to contrasting elements like this darkwood door and the almost stark white blocks around it. I was hoping I could pull more detail out of the image in post but lesson learned.
On a side note, over the next week or so I’m going to dive into the new Aperture 3 that Apple just released. I’ve been a Lightroom user since day one but the additions of ‘faces’ and ‘places’ (funny right….) just might make me transition over the Aperture. We’ll see but I’ll report back with some impressions soon.

Many people suffer from a common complication known as Comment Apprehension or CA. CA is common among visitors between the ages of fifteen and eighty-eight. CA is spreads quickly and prevents you from being an active member of your community. The only known cure for CA is to place your fingers at the ASDF JKL; position on the keyboard in front of you and begin typing. If that doesn't work, it is suggested you seek medical attention.
