I’m actually not completely sure what this tower is but I think it might be part of an outdated Tsunami warning system on the island of Maui in Hawaii. This relatively short tower was at the Lahina harbor on the west side of Maui hidden back by an old, half-crushed pier. Apparently there is some decent diving right off the pier but between the treacherous walk over a few hundred feet of slippy, wet jetty and the 10-15 knot winds that were stirring up everything in sight, we decided to skip the dive.
This photo does not have any GPS data associated with it. It's my goal to have GPS data for all my photos but unfortunately it is just not always possible.
Many people suffer from a common complication known as Comment Apprehension or CA. CA is common among visitors between the ages of fifteen and eighty-eight. CA is spreads quickly and prevents you from being an active member of your community. The only known cure for CA is to place your fingers at the ASDF JKL; position on the keyboard in front of you and begin typing. If that doesn't work, it is suggested you seek medical attention.
